WARM UP ...

Read through the following information ... How To Start a Narrative Essay

***There have been some issues this morning with the new laptops (as we said there would be with new technology) ... try shutting them down and/or restarting them as necessary.  However, if it will not allow you to get onto the internet to view the blog, work in Office 365, etc. then we will have to work around them today.  Find someone who has a working computer to scan through the warm-up article ... or check it out on your phone.  If you are unable to begin typing your rough draft, continue hand writing it for today and tomorrow.***

August 26 - The new laptops.

OBJ - To familiarize ourselves with the new laptops and ensure we can log on to Office 365 and have cloud storage set up.

TWO GOALS TODAY ... 1) Log on to Office365 and set up your OneCloud storage area and 2) create your blog for this class on Blogger

Go to this blog first - because it's easier to click on links than type them sometimes.

DAVISENG4.BLOGSPOT.COM

From there, go to http://portal.office365.com to log in to the Microsoft Online resources.

Your login will be the 1st FIVE letters of your last name + the 1st THREE letters of your first name + 000@k12.sfisd.org ... for example, mine would be ...

DAVISRIC000@k12.sfisd.org

Your 8 digit date of birth is your password.

After you've logged onto office online, go to http://www.blogger.com and set up an account there as well.  You will have a student blog (assuming the district hasn't blocked the site yet) that we will use as a class notebook in here.
