May 17 ... FInishing LotF (4-6) ... 11 Days Remaining





OBJ

Students will read and analyze themes and symbols in Golding's Lord of the Flies and use this information to infer what the author communicates about human nature.

WARM UP

Make sure you have a copy of the novel Lord of the Flies at your desk and retrieve a copy of the study questions from on top of the Chromebook cart.

Continue reading LotF and working on the study/analysis questions.  We will have time to read in class - however, IF YOU ARE ABSENT, you will be required to read on your own time to stay on pace with the rest of the class.  Quizzes will be given on the dates posted below - study questions will serve as quiz prep and then later as the review for the exam over the novel (KEEP THEM AND KEEP TRACK OF THEM.)
