OBJ - Students will analyze background information about important literary elements of Lord of the Flies
CWoD - FURTIVE
- Get a copy of the novel from the crate AND a copy of the study questions IF YOU DIDN'T GET THEM YESTERDAY - both are on top of the Chromebook cart. Study questions MAY already be stapled ... if not, be sure to get all six pages of the packet. (you will have roughly 5 minutes at the beginning of class to do THIS and get your CWoD completed before we begin reading). Keep your background info notes handy as you ready to refer to character info and more as we venture further into the novel.
- TODAY - we will finish reading Chapter One, Any additional time when we are finished reading will be spent working on the Chapter 1 Study Questions - you may work with a partner on these.
- Be sure to get the prereading analysis (in the shared Google Doc) from Monday AND the background info (notetaking guides on the Chromebook cart while they last) from yesterday completed as soon as possible.
- Once we have completed Chapter 3, we WILL quiz over chapters 1-3 ... so be prepared. We will read the entire novel in class, so we will ALL be on the same reading schedule.
