OBJ - Students will read and analyze literary elements of Lord of the Flies
CWoD - IMPERVIOUS
- Get a copy of the novel from the crate on top of the Chromebook cart. Keep track of your packet - there will not be extras made. (you will have roughly 5 minutes at the beginning of class to do THIS and get your CWoD completed before we begin reading). Keep your background info notes handy as you ready to refer to as we venture further into the novel.
There are no extra copies of the study questions - so if you lost yours or did not get one last week for some reason, you'll have to print your own from here:
- TODAY - we will quiz over Chapters 4-6 ... and begin reading Chapter 7 individually as time allows. We will read 7 and start chapter 8 as a class tomorrow (Friday).
- IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN THE FRANKENSTEIN TEST (or want to retest for up to an 80), be sure to see THIS BLOG ENTRY - any make-ups or retests MUST be submitted by 5/18. None will be accepted after that date.
- Once we have completed Chapter 9, we WILL quiz over chapters 7-9 ... so be prepared for that - on Thursday. We will read the entire novel in class, so we will ALL be on the same reading schedule.
