ENGLISH IV RESEARCH PAPER
This
research paper focuses on topics related to British culture, literature,
events, places, politics, etc…past and present.
With
this project, you have the choice of how much work you are willing to do; you
must meet all of the requirements for each portion of the project to be
eligible for that grade. NOTE: meeting the requirements DOES NOT
GUARANTEE that you will earn the maximum points, only that you are eligible for those points.

1. 5 sources minimum – You may use Databases (EBSCO, GALE,
etc.) and reputable newspaper websites or organizations (i.e. the New York Times or the National Rifle
Association’s websites). DO NOT PULL SOURCES FROM A GOOGLE SEARCH OR
USE ANY INFORMATION FROM WIKIPEDIA IN YOUR PAPER – there is a lengthy
validation process necessary for using websites … ANY USE OF WIKIPEDIA WILL
RESULT IN A ZERO. All sources should
be database, book, magazine or newspaper articles, or reputable organizations
that relate to your topic.
2. 60+ notecards
in proper format, including coding.
3. This
paper has a requirement of 900-1000
words.
4. Other

-Works Cited page written
in Modern American Language (MLA) format

parenthetical documentation and works cited page. ROUGH DRAFT WILL BE SUBMITTED ON CANVAS. (ROUGH DRAFT IS A QUIZ GRADE)

4 – 8: Edit/Revise Rough Draft – Type FINAL COPY. (FINAL COPY IS 2 MAJOR GRADES)
